It is a contact translaminar acaricidal insecticide that acts by ingestion. The sunfire product is separate and is a concentrated suspension that contains 240 grams of chlorphenapyr per liter of commercial product. Its active ingredient interrupts the oxidative phosphorylation process through the entry of H+ protons from the inside. of the mitochondria, causing the loss of protons in them and decreasing the production of ATP. Thanks to this process, it affects the respiration of the cells and causes the death of the insect.

This contact translaminar acaricidal insecticide is compatible with most phytosanitary products in common use, except for those with a strongly alkaline reaction. To obtain an excellent preparation of the mixture, the product is applied, completely covering the crop. To prepare the mixture, the necessary amount of sunfire is poured directly into the tank containing water up to 3/4 parts. Fill the tank with water and stir the liquid until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
