Silwet 806 is an adjuvant that can help reduce the surface tension of solutions, beyond what can be achieved with conventional adjuvants.
Typically, silwet 806 (at 0.1%) gives an aqueous surface tension of 22 mN/m. In addition, this agricultural adjuvant is a super dispersant, since the contact angle of the application solution on the surface of the leaf is reduced, achieving an increase in application coverage.
