It is a concentrated suspension agricultural fungicide that contains 600 grams of pyrimethanil per liter of commercial product, fungicide for the control of black Sigatoka in banana crops, it belongs to the chemical group of anilinopyrimidines, it has a preventive and translaminar action and it has a novel mechanism of action that inhibits the biosynthesis of methionine and the secretion of enzymes in the fungus required for the infectious process in the plant.

This agricultural fungicide prevents the destruction of the germ tube and mycelial growth. This product works on different fungal pathogens, including black Sigatoka. It controls pathogens that are resistant to other commercially available fungicides from a different chemical group. It is characterized by its favorable toxic conditions and advantageous behavior. It is recommended to apply Siganex only in mixtures, to control the black Sigatoka pest, to use the necessary application cycles in simple applications of an alternative cycle with other mechanisms of action until completing a maximum of 8 applications per season.
