Preventive action fungicide based on mancozeb which maintains two active ingredients which are metalaxyl and also controls diseases caused by fungi of the peronosporal order such as phytophthora, plasmopara and peronospora. Its mode of action is preventive and curative foliar fungicide with protective action.
The product metalaxyl is an inhibitor of protein synthesis in the fungus by interference with the synthesis of ribosomal RNA and mancozeb reacts and inactivates the sulfhydric groups of amino acids and enzymes of fungal cells.
