Our Great Plains Pasture Pig Mix has been carefully chosen to adapt to the unique climate and soil conditions of the region. From the snowy winters to the hot summers of southern North Dakota, South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, eastern Colorado, eastern New Mexico, northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.

This mix includes cool-season grasses like Kentucky bluegrass, endophyte-free tall fescue, orchardgrass, as well as legumes such as alfalfa and clover. These varieties are all included to provide nutritious, palatable, and reliable sources of forage for pasture pigs, while also helping to maintain healthy pasture ecosystems. Forage chicory was added for its anti-parasitic qualities, antioxidants, and for reducing the need of chemical dewormers. Birdsfoot trefoil was added to reduce bloating.
