It is a selective herbicide for agricultural and systemic use for pre-emergence applications. Its spectrum is to control grasses and some commelinaceae that inhibits the synthesis of proteins, lipids, fatty acids, pigments and some substances that promote the growth of weeds. It is absorbed in grasses by the coleoptile and roots, and the affected plants cannot emerge and die quickly.

Furthermore, this herbicide is exclusively used in rice, absorbed in the seedlings by the shoots and in some proportion by the roots, the absorption in the already emerged plants is irrelevant, it provides excellent control on some sedge grasses, this product can be applied in pre-sowing, pre-emergence or early post-emergence to the crop as a seal.

For better application and preparation of this selective herbicide for agricultural use, it should be applied to moist, well-prepared soil, free of clods. A minimum of 200 liters of mixture is used in land applications.
