It is a concentrated soluble post-emergence herbicide that contains 480 grams of bentazon per liter of commercial product. The basagran product is an effective herbicide in combating broadleaf and sedge weeds due to its mode of action, its active ingredient blocks the D1 protein, the which is responsible for transferring electrons to the quinone Qb; interrupting the flow of electrons from photosystem 2 in the chloroplast.
For a good preparation of the mixture, this concentrated soluble post-emergence herbicide is applied when broad-leaved and sedge weeds have from 2 to 4 true leaves. Try to completely cover the foliage with good coverage
