Herbicide for selective and contact agricultural use that can be applied pre- and early post-emergence, it is absorbed mainly by the roots and to a lesser extent by the leaves of weeds, it inhibits photosynthesis and mainly controls dicotyledonous and some monocotyledonous weeds.
Due to their mechanism of action, triazines are strong inhibitors of photosynthetic electron transport, by binding to plastoquinone D1, which results in the inhibition of photosynthesis in photosystem II of plants.
This herbicide for selective and contact agricultural use is generally applied to the soil, being absorbed by the roots and translocated within the plant.
